Carisoprodol (Watson Brand) blocks sensory impulses
that cause pain, and reduces pain-inducing chemicals in the body
that lead to inflammation of the joints and muscles.
How to take Carisoprodol (Watson Brand)
Follow your doctor's advice. For patients with
stiff sore muscles the normal recommended dose of Carisoprodol
(Watson Brand) is one 350 mg tablet 1-4 times daily (not to exceed
1400 mg or four tablets within a 24-hour period).
Carisoprodol (Watson Brand) precautions
Carisoprodol (Watson Brand) may cause dizziness,
drowsiness, blurred vision or clumsiness in some patients. Therefore,
avoid driving, using machines, or doing anything else that could
be dangerous until you know how your body will react to generic
Soma. Also, avoid drinking alcohol during treatment. Alcohol can
increase the effects of drowsiness and dizziness.
What to tell your doctor
Carisoprodol (Watson Brand) may interact with
certain medicines. Therefore, it's important that you tell your
doctor what prescription and/or over-the-counter drugs you are
taking, especially if you are using any of the following: antihistamines,
sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping medicine, narcotics (pain medicines),
barbiturates, medicines for seizures, other muscle relaxants, as
well as anesthetics, including some dental anesthetics. Also, before
taking Watson Soma let your doctor know if you have any of the
following medical conditions:
- Allergies
- History of drug abuse or dependence
- Kidney disease
- Liver disease
Carisoprodol (Watson Brand) side effects
While taking Watson Soma, you might experience
side effects. These side effects are temporary and tend to go away
as your body gets adjusted to the medicine. With Carisoprodol (Watson
Brand), the most common side effects are blurred (double vision),
dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, depression, insomnia, and
hiccups. Carisoprodol (Watson Brand) Side effects other than those
listed may also occur. If you experience any of the following serious
side effects stop taking Generic Soma and seek emergency medical
